Opening hours
In 2025, the museum is open from 7 February to 28 November.
On weekdays, we are open Wednesday and Friday at 11.00-15.00 (11 AM to 3 PM).
On regular weekends, we are open on Saturday and Sunday at 11.00-16.00 (11 AM to 4 PM).
On public holidays and during school vacations, we are open Monday-Sunday at 10.00-16.00 (10 AM to 4 PM).
Ticket sales end 30 min. before closing time.

We accept following foreign credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Maestro.
The museum also offers introductions in English. They last 45 minutes and cost 500 kr. + entrance fee (weekends 600 kr. + entrance fee). Contact the museum for further information and reservations.
The permanent exhibition is translated into English.
Accessibility
The museum offers good conditions for wheel chair users. The exhibition is on ground level, there are wheel chair ramps outside, and a toilet for the disabled.
Parking
Cars and busses can be parked 20 metres from the museum. A few metres from the entrance door there are parking spaces reserved for disabled parking.
Coffee and food
Enjoy the view of Kolding Fiord with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate from our machine. Or visit the restaurant in the main building of the old sanatorium, today known as Hotel Koldingfjord.
The museum visitors can eat their packed lunch in the museum garden.
